Senegal face France on 16 June in their first match of the World Cup, which kicked off on 11 June. For this match, scheduled for 7 pm GMT, FIFA has appointed the officials who will oversee it.
A trio of Australian referees has been appointed to officiate the match. Alireza Faghani has been named the main referee. He will be responsible for making key decisions during the match, which will be played at MetLife Stadium. He will be assisted by his compatriots George Lakrindis and Andrew Lindsay.
