Liverpool's head coach, Jürgen Klopp, shared information regarding the injured players.

During the press conference preceding the English Cup match, the German tactician discussed the status of Thiago Alcântara and Gravenberch.

"I am uncertain about several aspects he must address from a medical standpoint. I cannot determine whether this will allow him to return to play this season. I cannot elaborate further on this," confessed Klopp.

According to Liverpool's coach, Ryan Gravenberch sustained an injury to the ankle ligaments. Klopp added that the midfielder will miss the next two matches.

Incidentally, Liverpool's manager, Jürgen Klopp, expressed his opinion on the experienced central midfielder, Wataru Endo. The German coach expressed confidence that the Japanese player will soon sign a new long-term contract with the club.

Gravenberch signed a five-year contract with Bayern Munich on June 13, 2022. He made his Bundesliga debut on August 5, 2022, coming on as a substitute for Marcel Sabitzer in a match against Eintracht. Then, on September 1, 2023, he moved to Liverpool, signing a long-term contract.
