For Manchester City midfielder Rodri, the Matchday 29 clash against Nottingham Forest was truly special. He finally managed to break his prolonged goal drought in the English top flight, finding the back of the net at last.
Details: Rodri finally managed to get on the scoresheet, ending his long "goal drought" in the Premier League. This strike was the Spaniard's first in the league since May 2024, when he scored on Matchday 38 against West Ham.
However, if you count all competitions this season, this was actually his second goal, having previously found the net against Exeter in the FA Cup.
It's worth noting that Manchester City later conceded to Elliot Anderson, making it 2-2 in the match against Nottingham Forest.
Reminder: Manchester City winger Antoine Semenyo has already been involved in 9 goals for his new club in 2026, with only Arsenal's Viktor Gyökeres boasting a higher tally in that period.
