Liverpool captain and key player Virgil van Dijk has made a decision about his future at the club.
According to Graeme Bailey, the Dutch central defender has informed the club's management that he is expecting an offer for a new contract.
Van Dijk's current contract with Liverpool expires in the summer of 2025. However, the experienced footballer is not considering options to continue his career with other clubs and is fully focused on Arne Slot's project.
There were earlier reports of interest in van Dijk from clubs in Saudi Arabia.
Van Dijk joined Liverpool in the winter of 2018 from Southampton for €84 million. Overall, the 33-year-old defender has already played 270 matches for the Reds and scored 23 goals.
