The legendary Dutch striker will join Manchester United's coaching staff
Manchester United is strengthening its coaching staff with the addition of Dutchman Ruud van Nistelrooy.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the former striker is already in Manchester, where he will be introduced as the new assistant coach for Manchester United. Van Nistelrooy and René Meulensteen, who have both signed two-year contracts, will be part of Erik ten Hag's new coaching setup.
Recall that Manchester United has secured agreements for the transfers of forward Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna and defender Matthijs de Ligt from Bayern Munich.
Previously, it was reported that Bayern Munich has set a price of 50 million euros, plus bonuses, for De Ligt. Meanwhile, tens of thousands of Bayern fans have urged the club to halt the sale of their star defender.
Additionally, the media has widely circulated the news that Manchester United is preparing a sensational return for a star forward.
