Manchester United are preparing a sensational forward comeback

Last season's offensive problems could prompt Manchester United to make a rather unexpected transfer.
According to GIVEMESPORT, Old Trafford are considering bringing Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku back into their ranks. He didn't do well in his first stint in the red side of Manchester, but it is claimed that the Mancunians are willing to give him a second chance.
It is believed that this is how Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag intends to add competition at the forward position, primarily to Rasmus Højlund.
However, the Belgian forward himself has already made a promise to newly appointed Napoli head coach Antonio Conte that he will move to the Partenopei. But, in order to do so, the Neapolitans must sell Victor Osimhen to raise money to buy Lukaku.
The Belgian forward played for Manchester United in 2017-2019. He played 96 matches at Old Trafford, in which he scored 42 goals and 12 assists.
