Lawrence Okolie, the WBC bridgerweight champion (20-1, 15 KOs), has issued a challenge to the undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) during a live broadcast on IFL TV.

It is worth noting that on the night of May 18-19, Usyk defeated Tyson Fury, securing all the heavyweight belts. The Ukrainian boxer became the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999.

In the ninth round, Usyk knocked Fury down, with the ropes and corner saving the Briton from hitting the canvas. The boxers are expected to have a rematch this fall, with Usyk agreeing to the bout immediately after their fight in Riyadh.

Former heavyweight champion Fury's promoter, Bob Arum, confirmed that the Gypsy King has officially activated the rematch clause in their contract.

Recently, Okolie knocked out WBC bridgerweight champion Lukasz Rozanski, taking the championship belt from the Polish fighter.
