After winning the Bundesliga, Bayer Leverkusen's head coach Xabi Alonso discussed his team's next goals.

During the press conference, he stated that the Pharmacists aim to clinch the DFB-Pokal and the UEFA Europa League. According to Alonso, the team aspires for more.

"Being here is something incredible, finally becoming champions of Germany. But we aim for more. We want to win the Cup, we want victory in the Europa League as well. Thank you for your incredible support. Now it's time to celebrate. Thank you, German champions," Xabi remarked.

Recall that Bayer Leverkusen defeated Werder (5-0) and clinched the German championship ahead of schedule.

It's worth noting that Bayer also equaled Juventus' record for the most consecutive matches without defeat among top league clubs. Leverkusen remains undefeated for 43 matches.

Interestingly, when Xabi Alonso became Bayer's head coach last season, the team was only in 17th place in the Bundesliga.
