Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, who became the hero of the Champions League semi-final match against Manchester City, shared his emotions after the game.

"I am the happiest person in the world. In my country, the situation is difficult - because of this, it is not easy for me to train properly on a daily basis. But I want to thank everyone who supports me," Lunin was quoted by Madrid Xtra.

"There are matches when you play without the ball and prove that you are the 'better team,' although you know you will have to suffer. I must say that I wouldn't have run even five minutes, let alone 120, without my teammates. I must thank them for how hard they worked in front of me."

Yesterday, Andriy Lunin made 8 saves during the match, and in the penalty shootout, he saved shots from Bernardo Silva and Mateo Kovacic.

In the current season, Lunin has played 27 matches in all competitions, conceding 23 goals.

On Sunday, April 21, Real Madrid will play against Barcelona.
