The football legend's bold words came after another sensational performance from Bellingham at the World Cup. First, the midfielder bagged a brace in the round of 16 clash against Mexico, helping England secure a dramatic 3-2 victory.
Bellingham then struck twice more in the quarterfinal against Norway. His goals powered England to a 2-1 win in extra time and sent the Three Lions into the semifinals. That means Bellingham has now recorded back-to-back braces in his last two matches for the national team.
It's also worth noting that Bellingham now boasts six goals at World Cup 2026. England's next opponent is Argentina—the semifinal showdown is set for July 15.
