The former president of the Spanish Football Federation commented on his arrest
Former president of the Spanish Football Federation, Luis Rubiales, gave his comment regarding his detention at Madrid airport.
As the former official stated, allegations suggesting he engaged in real estate dealings and owns a baseball team are false.
"It's untrue that I made money in Cape Verde, as well as the claim that I own land for hotel construction in Saudi Arabia. My money comes from my work and savings," Rubiales stated.
It is worth noting that Former president of the Spanish Football Federation, Luis Rubiales, was released following his detention at the airport. The Spanish specialist was apprehended by the police upon arrival in Madrid. Rubiales is accused of money laundering, corruption in business, mismanagement, and membership in a criminal organization.
Recall that the Central Operations Unit of the Civil Guard conducted searches at the headquarters of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) in Las Rozas.
