The fan won’t get a haircut. Manchester United fail to win for the fifth game in a row
Manchester United travelled to face West Ham in a Matchday 26 Premier League fixture, with the chance to secure a fifth consecutive victory and finally see a famous fan get a haircut.
Details: However, the win did not come. West Ham opened the scoring in the 50th minute and defended their lead for a long spell. Manchester United rescued a point with a goal in the 90+6th minute, but were unable to claim all three points.
As a result, Manchester United’s winning run ended at four matches. This means that the legendary fan Frank Ilett still will not be getting his haircut.
Back on 5 October 2024, the supporter vowed not to cut his hair until Manchester United win five consecutive matches.
It is worth noting that in this match João Pedro also got on the scoresheet, managing to write his name into Premier League history among Brazilian players.
Reminder: In the 25th round of the English Premier League, Chelsea travelled to face Wolverhampton. From the very start, things went badly for the hosts, and by half-time the score was 0–3. In that match, Cole Palmer set a unique league record.
