In a Matchday 26 Premier League fixture between Chelsea and Leeds, one of the Blues’ players has etched his name into the history books.
Details: According to Opta, the forward has become only the fourth Brazilian in history to score 10 or more goals in two consecutive Premier League seasons. Before João Pedro, this feat was achieved by Roberto Firmino (four seasons from 2015–16 to 2018–19), Richarlison (2018–19/2019–20) and Matheus Cunha (2023–24/2024–25).
This season, João Pedro has featured in 34 matches across all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing seven assists.
Reminder: In the 25th round of the English Premier League, Chelsea travelled to face Wolverhampton. From the very start, things went badly for the hosts, and by half-time the score was 0–3. In that match, Cole Palmer set a unique league record.
