In the 25th round of the English Premier League, Chelsea visited Wolverhampton. From the very start, things went south for the hosts, and by halftime, the scoreline read 0-3.
Remarkably, all three goals were netted by Cole Palmer. The Chelsea star converted two penalties and capitalized on a pass from Cucurella. Notably, the 23-year-old Englishman became the first player in Premier League history to register three hat-tricks in the first half of matches.
Palmer also etched his name into Chelsea's history books. This latest hat-trick was his fourth for the club, setting a new record and surpassing legendary scorers like Drogba, Lampard, and Hasselbaink.
For the record, Palmer has already tallied 8 goals and 2 assists in 17 club appearances this season.
