The end of an era is near. Real captain has undergone a medical examination for a Saudi club

Real Madrid captain Nacho Fernandez is on the verge of joining Saudi club Al-Qadsia.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the experienced player has already completed a medical examination for his new club.

The Spanish defender is set to sign a two-year contract with the Saudi Pro League club once the paperwork is reviewed and approved. Negotiations are in the final stages.

It was previously reported that Real Madrid offered Nacho a new contract, but gave him a deadline until the end of June to make a final decision. However, the veteran player is currently focused on the European Championship 2024.

Nacho's decision will impact the futures of Rafa Marin and Leny Yoro. If Nacho leaves, Real Madrid will keep Marin in the team and will strive to secure Yoro.

In the recently concluded season, Nacho played 45 matches for Real Madrid across all competitions.
