AC Milan's head coach, Stefano Pioli, will leave the club after the current season, as reported by reputable journalist Fabrizio Romano. In the coming weeks, the management of the Rossoneri will take necessary steps to terminate the collaboration with the Italian coach. According to the information, Pioli's existing contract with the club expires on June 30, 2025.

Among the candidates to replace him, Christoph Galtier from Al-Duhail, Marcelo Gallardo from Al-Ittihad, as well as Julen Lopetegui and Paulo Fonseca from Lille, are mentioned. The final decision-making authority will lie with Zlatan Ibrahimović, who serves as the senior advisor to the club's owner, Gerry Cardinale. It's worth noting that the Rossoneri were eliminated from the Europa League in the quarterfinals. In Serie A, the team currently holds the second position and will face Inter Milan in the next round, with Inter having the chance to become champions with a victory.

Stefano Pioli took over as AC Milan's head coach in October 2019 and led the team to victory in Serie A in the 2021/2022 season.
