Inter triumphed over Milan in the derby during the 33rd round of Serie A, securing the Scudetto ahead of schedule.

From the outset, Milan managed to seize control, but Inter's goalkeeper, Jan Sommer, prevented the nominal hosts from opening the scoring.

On the 18th minute, Inter earned a corner, the delivery went to the near post, where Benjamin Pavard won the battle and headed the ball down for Francesco Acerbi to strike, leaving no chance for Maignan.

After halftime, Marcus Thuram excellently shifted from the left flank to the center and struck the ball straight under the crossbar from outside the penalty area.

However, Milan revived the intrigue on the 80th minute as Fikayo Tomori's header from a few meters found the empty corner.

From thereon, Inter calmly controlled the game and secured the victory.

This made Inter unreachable for Milan in the league table, and for the 20th time in history, Inter became the champion of Italy! Following this success, Inter plans to add another star to their logo.
