Arne Slot's managerial seat may soon become vacant.

Details: In an interview with BBC, 47-year-old Liverpool legend and former defender Jamie Carragher shared his thoughts on the current situation at his home club and their recent results:

"I've always been on the side of those who back the manager... To be totally honest, I'm angry with the players.

In the past, Liverpool has been known for showing patience with its managers rather than sacking them at the first sign of trouble. Liverpool is almost unique in European football: the manager is king, the manager has time.

But for any manager, there comes a point when it becomes unbearable. It can't go on like this. I'm not quite there yet, but I know others already are," Carragher told BBC Sport.

At the moment, Liverpool sits 11th in the overall Champions League group stage standings, with just 9 points. Things look even worse in the Premier League: 12th place with 18 points from 12 matches and six defeats.

Jamie Carragher played for Liverpool from 1996 to 2013, making 737 appearances for the Reds, scoring 4 goals and providing 20 assists.

Reminder: Sacking postponed. Arne Slot given two matches to turn things around
