The Chelsea winger may continue his career in Saudi Arabia

Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling may leave the club and seek a new team for the continuation of his career.

In the latest episode of the William Hill podcast, Three Up Front, Graeme Souness revealed that Sterling is set to move to Saudi Arabia. He cites two reasons for this: first, the financial incentives, and second, the uncertainty over whether any Premier League clubs would be interested in the winger.

"I don't think any team in this country can match their offer. I also don't believe any of the major Premier League clubs would be keen to sign him; he's effectively pricing himself out of the market," stated Souness.

However, despite these prospects painted by Souness, Sterling has attracted interest from a Premier League club. Aston Villa is considered a potential destination for the winger.

Moreover, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has practically confirmed today that Sterling and left-back Ben Chilwell may be exploring new club opportunities.

Earlier, it was reported that Chelsea and Juventus representatives discussed a potential swap deal, where Federico Chiesa and Raheem Sterling would exchange clubs.
