Juventus and Chelsea representatives discussed a potential swap deal involving Federico Chiesa and Raheem Sterling. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the negotiations quickly stalled due to disagreements over player valuations and salaries (Sterling earns nearly twice as much as Chiesa).

The main issues are the financial demands of the clubs and the players' salary expectations. However, Chelsea may focus on signing Chiesa if they first resolve the situation with Sterling, who could move either to Juventus or another club.
