The best player of the Copa América is ready to leave Brazil and return to Europe

Colombian midfielder James Rodríguez had a spectacular Copa América 2024, scoring one goal and providing six assists.
According to TalkSport, Rodríguez is set to terminate his contract with São Paulo and become a free agent. The 33-year-old plans to return to Europe this summer. Throughout his career, he has played for Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Everton.
Notably, Rodríguez delivered a sixth assist in the tournament, surpassing Lionel Messi's record for most assists in a single Copa América. Messi provided five assists in 2021, while Rodríguez achieved six.
Last summer, São Paulo's official site announced Rodríguez's transfer. As a free agent, he joined the Brazilian club without a transfer fee. He signed a contract with São Paulo that was set to run until June 30, 2025.
