Tedesco’s future with Belgium’s national team could be decided tomorrow

The Belgian natnal team’s board of directors is set to meet twice in the coming days, with the first meeting scheduled for tomorrow focusing on Domenico Tedesco’s future as head coach.

Details: The executive committee is expected to make a final decision regarding Tedesco, with dismissal being the most likely outcome. One of the main reasons cited for this decision is that the Belgian "Red Devils" dressing room has largely turned against him.

Additionally, some players have refused to play for the national team under Tedesco’s leadership. Notably, Thibaut Courtois has publicly declared he won’t represent Belgium while Tedesco remains in charge.

Reminder: Reports have indicated that if the Belgian federation opts for an early termination of Tedesco’s contract, he would receive compensation of €750,000 — half of his annual salary. The coach’s contract with Belgium is currently set to run until June 2026.
