Tedesco's Compensation Revealed in Case of Early Dismissal from Belgium

Belgium's disappointing performances in 2024 could lead the country's football federation to consider parting ways with head coach Domenico Tedesco. However, the Italian-German specialist would be entitled to a substantial severance package if prematurely dismissed.

Details: According to Sacha Tavolieri, should the Belgian federation opt for an early termination of Tedesco’s contract, he would receive compensation of €750,000—half of his annual salary. Additionally, five members of his coaching staff would also receive payments. Tedesco's contract with the Belgian national team runs until June 2026.

Reminder: Belgium managed just two wins in ten official matches in 2024. Despite this, Tedesco recently expressed optimism that the team will perform better in the coming year.
