Teboho Mokoena penalty earns Bafana Bafana a point against Czechia in World Cup group A match

Teboho Mokoena's penalty saved Bafana Bafana's blushes against Czechia in South Africa's second World Cup match.

Mokoena netted from the spot after a handball inside the box by the Czechs following a Thapelo Maseko rasping shot.

At this stage at Atlanta's Mercedes Benz Stadium, Bafana were staring at a potential second defat in Group A.

But Mokoena ensured this is not the case.

Miroslav Koubek's Czechia took the lead in the first half through Michal Sadilek following a good move from their right channel.

This point is so precious for Hugo Broos' Bafana who will have a lot to play for against South Korea in the last game.
