Teboho Mokoena disappointed at missing Bafana Bafana's last World Cup game but still proud of the team
Teboho Mokoena is full of pride.
The Bafana Bafana midfielder expressed pride and joy at the team's performance aginst Czechia last night in a 1-1 draw.
Mokoena scored the goal for Bafana from the penalty spot to earn his side the point.
The unfortunate part is that the Mamelodi Sundowns midfield dynamo will not be part Hugo Broos' side next Thursday against South Korea.
Mokoena picked up his second yellow card in two matches which means he is suspended for the third match.
“Unfortunately I won't play the next game, but I'm proud of the team for the way we played and showed up,” said Mokoena on SABC Sport.
This means Sphephelo Sithole is likely to take his place in midfield as he returns from a red card suspension against Mexico.
The South Korea match is an important one for Bafana as they either win it or burst.
