Sudden twist! Tottenham’s leader leaves the club

Tottenham is no longer hiding the fact that they're preparing for life without Guglielmo Vicario.

Details: According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, the Italian goalkeeper has not been included in the London club’s squad for their preseason tour.

Vicario is expected to leave Tottenham before the summer transfer window closes. While Romano has not yet revealed the Italian’s next destination, his omission from the preseason squad is one of the clearest signs of an imminent departure.

Previously, Inter Milan was among the frontrunners for the Italian keeper. Vicario’s contract with Spurs runs until June 2028.

For the record, Vicario played 43 matches in all competitions during the 2025/26 season, conceding 65 goals and keeping 13 clean sheets.
