Steve Komphela Advises Coaches to Enjoy Soweto Derby, Shares Sundowns’ Progress Under Cardoso

The coaches of the Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs, Nasreddine Nabi and Jose Riveiro, have been advised by Mamelodi Sundowns senior coach Steve Komphela to enjoy Saturday's Soweto Derby.

Komphela, who has extensive knowledge of the rivalry, highlighted the match's cultural significance by stressing that it's a special opportunity for both coaches to absorb the environment.

Despite criticism about the team's discipline and game management, Komphela talked about Sundowns' great growth under their new head coach, Miguel Cardoso.

Although they have been criticized for getting several red cards, Sundowns have played brilliantly this season, achieving outstanding achievements in both local and continental games.

With an emphasis on enhancing particular areas, Komphela is still certain that everything is going well at the club. Sundowns' next Premiership matchup is against Golden Arrows on Sunday.
