Stade Malien coach Mauril Njoya on their return leg against Mamelodi Sundowns the in Caf Champions League: We can reverse the 3-0 score and win

Mauril Njoya’s optimism knows no bounds.

Njoya’s Stade Malien face Mamelodi Sundowns in the Caf Champions League quarterfinal second leg clash in Bamako tomorrow with a 3-0 deficit.

Njoya’s Stade Malien lost 3-0 to Sundowns in South Africa, a week ago today, and for this seems like a mountain to climb for the Malian side but their coach’s positivity is on another level.

"I think I have given more points to Mamelodi Sundowns to avoid what you are saying. No, it is not because of their experience that we lost against them," Njoya told the media.

"It's not because they were stronger than us. I think that, as I told you, it's football, it can happen, it can happen in football.

"I think that next match, it will not be the same like this. I promise you that we are going to win the match in Bamako.

"Even 3-0, to go even to penalty kicks, I don't know, but we have to score goals, many goals."

The game starts at 6pm tomorrow in Bamako.
