CAF Champions League semifinal pairings set. Who will Mamelodi Sundowns face?
On March 22, the CAF Champions League saw the conclusion of the quarterfinals, which determined the tournament's semifinal matchups. The battle for a spot in the final will feature Espérance (Tunisia) taking on Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), while Morocco’s ASFAR Rabat and RS Berkane will clash in the other semifinal.
The semifinals will be played over two legs: the first matches are set for April 10–11, with the return legs scheduled for April 17–18.
Remarkably, all four group stage winners bowed out in the quarterfinals, failing to live up to their favorite status. It’s also worth noting that defending champions Pyramids have already relinquished their crown.

Among this year’s semifinalists, Tunisian giants Espérance have the most CAF Champions League titles, with four to their name. ASFAR Rabat and Mamelodi Sundowns have each lifted the trophy once, while Berkane are aiming to reach their first-ever final.
