Southampton's head coach Tonda Eckert, along with other members of the Saints' coaching staff, could face a lengthy suspension.

Details: Southampton's managers may be subjected to individual disciplinary measures by the Football Association and risk sanctions if accusations of spying on their playoff rivals Middlesbrough are confirmed.

The club has been charged by the EFL with breaching Rule 127, which prohibits observing another club's training session within 72 hours prior to a match between the two teams. Football authorities will assess all available evidence from this incident and will decide on a potential suspension for Tonda Eckert.

The Football Association and EFL are also investigating whether Eckert, Southampton's technical director Johannes Spors, or other staff members were involved. The case of Southampton's intern analyst William Salt, who was photographed at Middlesbrough's training session ahead of the playoff semi-final, will also be reviewed individually.
