Ricardo Goss admits South Africa are envious of Morocco's display against Brazil in the World Cup yet also said that game inspired Bafana Bafana.

The North Africans drew 1-1 against football powerhouse in Brazil to stamp their authority contrary to Bafana's 2-0 loss to Mexico, a week ago today, in the opening match.

Ahead of the Bafana's clash against Czechia this evening, Goss said this is the match they would need to rise up to the occasion like Morocco did.

“Yeah, that game is actually good for the people from Africa,” said Goss in the press conference, as per Mahlatse Mphahlele.

“It also gives the other African teams that confidence that they can match any team that’s out there.

“We actually do draw inspiration from such games and from Morocco as well. We just need to prove it against Czechia in the next game.”

This evening's game starts at 6pm South African time.
