Slot refuses to enter the transfer market this winter

Since arriving at Liverpool, Arne Slot has not overhauled the squad, making only Federico Chiesa his summer signing. The Dutch coach is also not keen on making changes to the team in January.

Details: During a press conference, Liverpool’s head coach was asked whether the team would be making transfers in the winter. Slot did not directly address the question, instead reflecting on his ability to influence the game with the players he has available on the bench.

Quote: "I think you’ve seen once again that I can strengthen the team or influence the game with the substitutes I have on the bench. It’s not the first time this season that these players have helped us when I’ve called on them," said Slot.

Reminder: Liverpool has struggled this season to beat Nottingham Forest. After losing at Anfield, the "Reds" only managed to salvage a draw away.
