Yesterday, Chelsea suffered a 0-5 defeat against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, while their top scorer and the Premier League's leading scorer, Cole Palmer, missed the game due to illness. Mauricio Pochettino's team showed a lackluster performance in attack, leading experts and fans to actively discuss Chelsea's dependency on their leader.

As a result, Sky Bet analysts calculated where Chelsea would stand in the league table if they removed Palmer's 29 impactful contributions from their results. It turned out that without them, Chelsea would be in the relegation zone, in 18th place, below Luton Town and Nottingham Forest.

Interestingly, before the game, head coach Mauricio Pochettino urged the players to prove that they are "Chelsea Football Club" rather than "Cole Palmer's Club."

Cole Palmer joined Chelsea in the final days of last summer from Manchester City for €47 million.

With 47 points to their credit, Chelsea currently occupies ninth place in the Premier League, but has two games in hand. On Saturday, April 27, Mauricio Pochettino's team will play away against Aston Villa, who are in fourth place.

It's worth noting that Chelsea lost to Manchester City (0-1) in the FA Cup semi-final over the weekend.
