Arsenal hosted Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium in a rescheduled match of the 29th round of the English Premier League.

Both teams were active in the first half, threatening each other's goals. Arsenal took the lead as early as the 4th minute through Leandro Trossard. The hosts could have extended their advantage, but Kai Havertz, Declan Rice, and Trossard himself failed to convert their chances. Chelsea also had opportunities to equalize, but the finishing touch eluded the Pensioners.

The beginning of the second half dashed all hopes for Chelsea. Arsenal came out very strong after the break, and goals were on the horizon. As a result, Mikel Arteta's side scored three times before the 65th minute.

First, Ben White disappointed Chelsea, then former Chelsea player Havertz completed a brace. Finally, White scored his second goal of the match.

Arsenal now sits at the top of the table with 77 points. However, Liverpool has played one game less, and Manchester City has two games in hand. Chelsea remains in ninth place with 47 points.
