The authoritative insider Fabrizio Romano has expressed his opinion regarding Arsenal's intentions to acquire a new player for the left-back position. The Italian journalist stated that the club has not yet finalized a shortlist, but they will definitely attempt to strengthen this position in London.

"It's possible. It's not guaranteed yet because, as far as I've heard, Arsenal are waiting until the end of the season to understand what they want to do. They want to see what happens in the Premier League to make decisions about investments in different positions. But the left-back could be one of the positions they need to cover. This has already been discussed within the club. So at the moment, there are no names because they don't have a final decision on the player they want to sign. But signing a new left-back in the summer transfer window is possible," - Romano said.

It is worth recalling that Oleksandr Zinchenko (played 33 matches), Takehiro Tomiyasu (played 25 matches), and Jakub Kiwior (played 27 matches) have all featured on the left defensive flank for the Gunners in the current season.
