Jack Grealish could be heading back to Everton much sooner than expected.

Details: According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, Everton are in advanced talks with Manchester City over bringing Jack Grealish back to the club on loan. Negotiations are progressing well, and the England winger has made a return to the Toffees his priority.

Romano reports that, if everything continues according to plan, the loan deal could be completed early next week. The clubs are therefore approaching the decisive stage of negotiations, although no final agreement has yet been announced.

For Grealish, this would be another spell with Everton after he spent the 2025/26 campaign on loan with the Merseyside club. Manchester City currently still hold his contract, making an agreement between the two Premier League sides necessary before the move can be completed.

It is worth noting that Grealish made 20 Premier League appearances for Everton during the 2025/26 season, scoring two goals and providing six assists.
