One of the most unexpected moves of deadline day is now effectively complete.

Details: According to renowned insider Matteo Moretto, Marc Casadó's move from Barcelona to Deportivo is a done deal. The two clubs have reached an agreement and are already exchanging the necessary documents to complete the transfer.

The latest update brings a rapid conclusion to negotiations that had accelerated during the final hours of the transfer window. Earlier on Tuesday, reports indicated that Deportivo had already received Casadó's approval and were working to reach a final agreement with Barcelona. Moretto now reports that the deal itself has been completed, with the paperwork being exchanged between the clubs.

The 22-year-old midfielder is a product of Barcelona's academy system. He joined the Catalan club in 2016, later captained the U19 team and eventually progressed to the senior squad. Casadó made his official first-team debut in the 2022/23 season before becoming a permanent member of the senior setup in the summer of 2024.

It is worth noting that Barcelona's official historical statistics list Casadó with 34 competitive appearances for the first team during the 2025/26 season. The Spaniard is primarily used as a defensive midfielder and has spent his entire senior career within Barcelona's system before this move.

Reminder: That's it! Deco closes the door on any more Barcelona signings
