Details: According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, Inter have reached a verbal agreement with Liverpool for the transfer of 25-year-old England midfielder Curtis Jones. The total package is worth €35 million, bringing the long-running negotiations between the clubs to a decisive stage.
An agreement has also been reached with Jones himself on personal terms. The next step is the medical examination, which is already being planned before the transfer can be formally completed.
Inter had been working on a move for the English midfielder for several weeks and identified him as one of their priority targets for the summer window. Earlier reports suggested Liverpool were demanding around €40 million, while the Italian club were attempting to close the deal at a lower figure.
