Arsenal's teenage star completely lost his cool in a dramatic ending at Highbury.

Details: Max Dowman received a straight red card in the 86th minute of Arsenal's EFL Cup fourth-round clash against Fleetwood. The 16-year-old became involved in an off-the-ball incident and, after appearing frustrated, kicked out at an opponent. The referee had no hesitation and immediately sent the Arsenal youngster off.

The dismissal came during an extremely tense second half at Fleetwood's Highbury Stadium. The League Two side had stunned the reigning English champions by taking the lead through Aaron Loupalo-Bi, before Viktor Gyökeres brought Mikel Arteta's team level shortly after the break.

Dowman had been one of Arsenal's most active attacking players throughout the evening and had already created several dangerous moments before the incident. However, his night ended in the worst possible fashion as one moment of frustration left the Gunners with ten men for the closing stages of the cup tie.

It is worth noting that the 16-year-old scored twice in Arsenal's 4-2 victory over Ipswich in the previous round of the EFL Cup. According to Transfermarkt, the winger's current market value is estimated at €30 million.

Reminder: Drone over the stadium! Fleetwood vs Arsenal suspended!
