The mother of former Brazil national team and Inter Milan striker Adriano has fallen victim to criminals.
Details: The scammer used a fake number, pretending to be the ex-footballer, and as a result, the woman transferred over 15,000 reais (about $3,000) to a third-party account.
“My mother just transferred money to someone who pretended to be me. People, be careful: I haven’t changed my number, my number is still the same,” Adriano warned his followers.
In a series of emotional messages, the former Inter and Brazil forward issued a harsh ultimatum to the perpetrator, giving them 24 hours to return the money. Adriano threatened to take drastic measures if the money wasn’t returned:
“You’d better give the money back, my friend, because I’ll come after you with full force. Don’t mess with my mother, grandmother, or my family. You’ll see the devil come down to earth if you don’t return every last cent.”
Later, after cooling off from his initial outburst, Adriano clarified that it was a moment of intense anger, and now the police are handling the case.
“May God forgive this person. Now everything is in the hands of justice,” he added, confirming that his mother has already filed an official report.
Reminder: Moussa Diaby could return to Europe. Inter are interested in the French Al-Ittihad winger.
