Sadio Mane leads Al-Nassr to stunning victory with a brace against Al-Ettifaq in the Saudi Pro League

Sadio Mane emerged as the hero for Al-Nassr on Tuesday 25 August during matchday 3 of the Saudi Pro League. Reduced to ten men as early as the 12th minute following Bento’s sending-off, the Saudi club staged a spectacular comeback to win 3–2 away at Al-Ettifaq.

Trailing on the scoreboard and a man down, Al-Nassr looked to be in trouble. But Sadio Mane and his team-mates responded effectively to turn the game around against Al-Ettifaq.

The Senegalese striker narrowed the gap in the 74th minute, scoring to make it 2-1 and reigniting his team’s hopes. Three minutes later, Alamri brought Al-Nassr level with Al-Ettifaq, making it 2–2.

Just as the two teams seemed to be heading for a draw, Sadio Mane struck again. The Senegalese forward scored the winning goal in stoppage time, securing a spectacular victory 3-2 for Al-Nassr.
