Ronaldo's new contract with Al-Nassr in jeopardy as talks suspended after scandal

Negotiations over a contract extension between Cristiano Ronaldo and Al-Nassr have been put on hold. According to Marca, the talks stalled after the Portuguese superstar's emotional reaction to Al-Nassr's defeat against Al-Ittihad in their recent Pro League clash.
After the final whistle, Ronaldo demonstratively left the pitch, openly showing his frustration with the team's performance and didn't even enter the dressing room. Although both sides had nearly agreed to a two-year extension, the club's deteriorating situation and the player's behavior have caused irritation among the club's management.
It is worth noting that Ronaldo's current contract expires at the end of June. With four matches left in the season, Al-Nassr trails league leaders Al-Ittihad by 11 points and risks missing out on international competitions. This could lead to the early departure of the 40-year-old star forward this summer.
