Roma has extended the contract with their head coach Daniele De Rossi until June 2027.

The club officially announced their decision to continue working with the Italian specialist for another three years.

Just a reminder, on January 16, 2024, Daniele De Rossi was appointed as the new head coach of Roma, signing a contract until the end of the season and replacing José Mourinho. At the time of his appointment, Roma was in 9th place in the league table.

On January 20, 2024, De Rossi managed his first match as coach of Roma against Hellas Verona, securing a 2-1 victory for his team.

Under De Rossi's leadership, Roma reached the UEFA Europa League semi-finals, where they were defeated by Bayer Leverkusen. In Serie A, the Wolves finished in 6th place with 63 points, qualifying for the Europa League in the following season.
