Details: According to Vuvuzela.Foot, citing Tunisian media, today legendary striker Michael Eneramo, who played for Turkish giants Beşiktaş, Espérance Tunis, and the Nigerian national team, has passed away.
Reports indicate that the 40-year-old Eneramo died of a heart attack.
Michael Eneramo was renowned for his performances with the Nigerian national team, earning 11 caps and scoring 3 goals, as well as his club career with Beşiktaş, Istanbul Başakşehir, Al-Shabab, Sivasspor, and Espérance Tunis.
In 2018, Eneramo announced his retirement from professional football. His last club was the Cypriot side Türk Ocagi Limasol SK.
During the 2009/10 season, Eneramo finished as the top scorer of the CAF Champions League, netting 8 goals. He was also twice the top scorer of the Tunisian Ligue 1 in the 2008/09 and 2009/10 seasons.
