Brazilian futsal player Alex Felipe, who previously played for Lisbon's Sporting, has passed away today at the age of 32.
Details: According to preliminary reports, the player lost consciousness and collapsed while preparing to fly to Moscow with his team, Norilsk Nickel. Despite attempts to resuscitate him, the athlete could not be saved.
It should be noted that Alex Felipe became a UEFA Futsal Champions League winner with Portuguese side Sporting in the 2018/19 season.
Alex Felipe was also known for his spells with Spain's Inter FS, Brazilian clubs JEC Krona Futsal and Corinthians, as well as the Brazilian national team.
