Return to the squad: Jude Bellingham to be called up by England
The England national team is set to play its final qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup, and it appears a key player is ready to return.
Details: According to The Athletic, England’s head coach plans to recall Jude Bellingham to the squad. The midfielder missed the previous international fixtures due to injury.
Bellingham started the match against the Merseysiders, marking his 50th start in the Champions League — breaking Iker Casillas’ record to become the youngest player ever to reach that milestone. Bellingham achieved it at 22 years and 128 days, while Casillas set the previous mark at 22 years and 155 days.
Reminder: England have already secured their spot at the 2026 World Cup after a commanding 5–0 victory over Latvia, comfortably finishing their qualification campaign under Thomas Tuchel.
