Refiloe Jane wants Banyana Banyana to make full use of the WAFCON Play-Off against Nigeria on Thursday
Refiloe Jane is galvanising her Banyana Banyana team-mates to take advantage of the World Cup lifeline they have against Nigeria this Thursday.
Jane's Banyana face African Women's football powerhouse Nigeria in a WAFCON World Cup Play-Off having initially missed out last Saturday in a 2-1 loss to Morocco.
The veteran midfielder said the mood in camp has been low since the loss to the Hosts in Rabat on Saturday but the match against the Super Falcons should find them in good shape mentally.
“We have a big game to look forward to against Nigeria. We need to dust ourselves off and refocus. We need to be motivated and fight for World Cup qualification. We have to give grace where it is due, but we can’t sulk throughout the tournament. We have a big one coming up, so we need to put our heads up and bounce back,” said Jane on SABC Sport.
“Now we look ahead to the play-offs against Nigeria and we have to make sure that we approach that match with a positive mindset."
