WAFCON 2026: kick-off times and venues for the play-offs for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup
South Africa and Nigeria are set to clash, whilst Ivory Coast will face Ghana this Thursday, 13 August, in Casablanca.
The four teams eliminated in the quarter-finals of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will compete for a place in the qualifying race for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, scheduled to take place in Brazil in 2027. Both matches will be played this 13 August in Morocco.
The first match will see Ivory Coast take on Ghana. Kick-off is scheduled for 5 pm GMT at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca.
The highlight of these play-offs will see South Africa take on Nigeria. The match will kick off at 8 pm GMT at the Moulay Rachid Stadium in Casablanca. This clash promises to be an intense battle between two giants of women’s football in Africa.
