Real Madrid thrashed Racing Santander 3-0 in their La Liga matchday 11 clash, with Yan Diomande emerging as one of the standout performers. The young Ivorian talent struck in the 36th minute, capping a brilliant Madrid attack in style.
For the 19-year-old, this was already his third league goal for Real Madrid. According to statistical expert MisterChip, Diomande has joined the ranks of the most prolific Madrid players in La Liga before turning 20 in the 21st century.
Only Arda Güler has scored more at this stage of his career — seven goals. Vinícius Júnior and Gonzalo Higuaín have four apiece. With three goals, Diomande is now level with Sergio Ramos, while staying ahead of Rodrygo, who has two strikes to his name.
The Ivorian's current form is particularly impressive: in his last six appearances for Real Madrid, he has recorded four goals and four assists. Diomande scored against Villarreal, Sevilla and Leipzig, and also found the net against Racing.
