Real Madrid's management is displeased with Vinícius' statements concerning racism
Real Madrid star Vinícius recently declared that Spain should be stripped of its right to host the 2030 World Cup due to the high level of racism in the country.
Details: The club’s management is not particularly pleased with such remarks from their winger. According to Sport.es, Florentino Pérez is among those disapproving of Vinícius' behavior. The Real Madrid president is keen on hosting a grand event, such as the World Cup final, at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Additionally, the management is frustrated by the frequent interviews Vinícius and Rodrygo give during international breaks. While they tend to remain reserved when playing for Real Madrid, their demeanor changes significantly when they join the Brazilian national team. Madrid is increasingly considering selling Vinícius due to concerns over his public image.
Reminder: Madrid Mayor José Luis Martínez-Almeida responded to Vinícius' accusations of racism in Spain. He stated that everyone has the right to make mistakes and that Vinícius should reflect and apologize.
Spain is set to co-host the 2030 World Cup along with Portugal and Morocco, while the opening matches will take place in Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay.
